Welcome to the CAMRA Cumbria Branches website dedicated to Cumbria’s real ale serving premises, it’s many real ale breweries and the superb range of cask conditioned beers they brew. CAMRA Cumbria Branches comprises Furness, Solway, West Cumbria and Westmorland Branches. The Cumbria Real Ale Guide was produced and published by the combined Branches. The detailed content is the result of  surveys undertaken by Branch members from across the County.

This site is maintained as an updating facility for those who have purchased copies of the latest award winning  edition of the Cumbria Real Ale Guide (CRAG), detailing premises updates including corrections, additions and, sadly, some deletions.

Also included are updates for the expanding list of Cumbrian Real Ale breweries. It also contains an index of all known premises serving real ale, referenced by location and name, and an index by brew name/brewery of all known Cumbrian Brewery brews. For each updated section click onto the links above.

It is intended to continually update the site and to expand its contents to cover other aspects of CAMRA campaigning in Cumbria. If you have any comments or wish to bring our attention to any premises we may have overlooked, please email me.

Survey Form  for electronic submission is still under construction. To see the layout only (submission still to be  linked) click here

If you have not yet purchased your copy of CRAG and wish to enquire about  particular premises or locations in Cumbria, or premises facilities, then please contact me by  email.

If using email, please type "CRAG" in the subject box to avoid your message possibly being directed into Junk.
